Excellent stay, very walkable. Close to town and a variety of shopping options. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. A definite must return.

We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! The property was really nice. In a nice and quiet area of the island. I do wish there were a few more dining options after 6pm other than making a reservation at the restaurant which you have to do the day before. Also the cleanliness was just ok, not terrible but not super thorough. Some of my towels and blankets had stains so I had to request new ones. I'm sure they'd been cleaned but it's just not comforting to see stains.

Stayed here August 24. Had the surprise of 49 euro resort tax for being a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t say it was 4 star, more like 3 at a push. The hotel is located on the edge of town. I stayed here bed and breakfast but I wouldn’t do that again as you have to wear wrist band anyway and it’s not nice being around the pool watching everyone get inclusive drinks and general prices of 16 euro per 2 drinks is expensive. Staff quite rude and not helpful, I.e had to complete all check in paperwork by self. Pool table not level and has queues with no tips. Pool is shaded in morning and late afternoon. Good luck getting beds as it’s allowed to put towels out very early here. At breakfast had to wait for tables to become free and also very crowded. Had to wait for cups and plates to be cleaned as well as fresh food being brought out.

Love this resort and we had a room with a private pool. You’re a 10 min taxi ride from town center that has great shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet resort with a chill vibe.

I loved our private pool and the fact that it was adults only. The staff were amazing and could t do enough for us. All in all a perfect stay.
