The patio has furniture and amazing views, while parking is also available off the road. With walks nearby, and the lakeside town of Windermere a 10-minute drive away, Ghyll Bank Barn is the perfect Lake District retreat! Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

Just five miles from the famous town of Windemere, Staveley is truly in the heart of the Lakelands. This charming village is just a stone's throw from the borders of the Lake District National Park and offers wonderful and scenic opportunities for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts. The village itself is well-served by a number of shops, a trio of pubs and a railway station, offering relaxing rides through the surrounding countryside. Nearby attractions include the famous Lake Windemere, where you can soak up the spectacular panorama from a boat or take a ferry trip to the Lakeside Aquarium or the Grizedale Forest Park. Ambleside, the centre of English mountaineering, is also close by offering visitors the chance to go climbing.
