"Check in was not good. I traveled from a different country and needed wifi to get a code. I had to drive 5 miles to get to a friend to call the owners. The owners were in and out of service so they could only text.
When i finally got the proper code. It was 5 flights of steep stairs. It should have been told how many flights of stairs to go with a large suitcase."

The cobblestone market square and medieval abbey ruins make Kelso a perfect base for exploring the Scottish Borders. Ask locals about fishing spots along the River Tweed or time your visit for the Kelso Races, a beloved tradition since 1822.
Hotel was lovely, room was spacious and very clean. Owners were very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. The owners could not do enough to help you enjoy your stay. Gave lots of information on the local area and would book restaurants etc if you asked. Highly recommend this hotel.
