"The building is unique and was a great adventure for the family staying in our own mini castle - but comfortable and homely. Comfy beds quiet location so all slept like logs. Instructions for the oven and hob would have been helpful. Great base for a relaxing getaway within easy reach of Lindisfarne, Bamburgh and Alnwick castles and Northumberlands beaches and wild open spaces"

"This place was fantastic. Location was great to visit all the towns nearby. The house was nicely furnished with all the amenities. Lots of space to move around. The last evening was chilly so we had a fire and it really warmed the place up!"

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Beds were excellent and we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. Parking was easy. Liz was very responsive to any questions we had. And the lounge was a perfect place to relax after a day out. We were only 2 but 4 people would be very comfortable. Jean"
