  • Maria's House is a 2 bedroom full equipped apartment 9 min walk from the brown sandy beach of Katelios" Agia Varvara"with the blue flag. You can enjoy a drink to our sunny veranda and relax to our colorful and looked after garden.
    Relax to our comfy sofa in the living room which inclludes flat TV screen and enjoy cooking to our full equipped kitchen.
    Have a nice calm sleep with air-con in our comfy double sized bed and have a unique mlorning in our authentic bedroom's balcony.
    Also have a sweet relaxed sleep to our classic air-con bedroom with 2 cozy single sized beds and a wonderful window with mountain view.
    Have fun playing table games ,cards and reading books to our unique veranda!
    Maria΄s House is next to a mini market you can go shopping and lots of hotels with swimming pools you can visit around the area of Katelios.
    Enjoy fresh fish to the local tavernas, feel the romance of the local bars in the evening, swim to the beautiful sandy beach of Katelios with the swallow crystal sea water.
    Excellent for hiking, snorkelling.,swimming,sunbathing.
    If you are lucky enough you can see the baby turtles caretta-caretta to come out of the sandy beach who are very popoular in the area!

Freundlicher geht's nicht

Das Apartment ist großzügig, hell und sauber. Die Ausstattung umfassend und ausreichend. W-Lan funktionierte einwandfrei. Vor allem die netten Gastgeber bleiben uns in Erinnerung - immer freundlich, lächelnd und nachfragend (vielen Dank an Georgious für die perfekte Betreuung/Kommunikation!). Dazu gab es im Kühlschrank Süßes, Wasser und regionalen Wein zur Begrüßung . Und der Supermarkt ist quasi im Haus - bequem und ohne große Geräusche. Nicht zu vergessen: Die große Terrasse mit schönen Aussichten und viel Platz. Unbedingt empfehlenswert für Kata Katelios! Wir bedanken uns für eine schöne Zeit und kommen gern mal wieder!

A lovely apartment in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria’s house. It was well appointed and in a super location just a few minutes walk to the lovely village of Katelios and it’s long, clean, sandy beach. There was a large terrace with awning that we used every day and this have a panoramic view down to the sea. We liked the accommodation and found the air con very useful at night. The bathroom and shower were a bit small but this was not a problem. We like to cook on holiday so looked specifically for a property with a good cooker. We hired a car and found Katelios a good base to explore the island and found the driving to be generally relaxed; the roads are not particularly good and this seems to keep the speed down. We met Georgios and his family who were very friendly and welcoming and always pleased to help. Kefalonia is a lovely island with plenty of greenery and we thought the area around Katelios was particularly pleasant. We enjoyed finding some of the more remote, hidden beaches. We would have no hesitation in recommending Maria’s house
