"We feel so lucky to have found this place to stay in while down one Somerset. The house has everything that you need from a Nespresso machine to dressing gowns in the bedroom and amazing wood to burn and keep you warm. Not to mention the secret garden! Wendy and Ewen were both exceptionally helpful before, during and after our visit. We will hopefully be back!"

What is a historic hotel like in Keenthorne?
Guests who choose historic hotels have a chance to stay in a place that's been recognised with an official historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as castles, palaces or even pubs or old police stations — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Keenthorne typically preserve original qualities such as period features or traditional architecture in their public spaces or guestrooms.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
These are quite similar. "Historic hotel" is a term often used in the US, while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to place more significance on the architecture and actual building. Mainly heritage hotels draw meaning from the cultural value and how it inspired the community.
Do historic hotels in Keenthorne have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve treasured traditions and historic facades, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Guests should expect the popular amenities you'd find in a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In Keenthorne, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you will stay in a place that's uncomfortable for guests or rundown.
