There is a large Lanai/DECK just steps outside the house with great bird's eye views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on a clear day.. This area is high off the ground providing generous air flow, garden views and a wonderful sense of living in a tree house. You can also choose to relax downstairs in hammocks or Adirondack Chairs in lounge area.

This lives up to all the pics and description! We had a hard time leaving to venture out for the day, as we just wanted to enjoy the “treehouse”! Highly recommend booking this adorable place and plan to chill for a couple days and just enjoy! Mahalo Christina!

The house is spotless and spacious with a lovely lanai looking over the lush tropical garden full of birds. We loved the quirky decor and all of the thoughtful touches such as the Christmas lights and cocktail set. It is very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking and lots of towels.

We loved staying in this house. This property is so charming and really feels like you are in Hawaii. Very well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. Perfect location for my family to explore Hilo, go zip lining, and visit Volcanoes National Park and the black sand beach.

The house is on a 1-acre lush property in a quiet neighborhood set one street back from the ocean. Very convenient location but one should have a vehicle as the neighborhood is enormous and 4 miles to the main road. House was as described but we didn't know up front about the downstairs situation (as Vinnie H. described in May 14, 2024 post). Unfair of him to review as such a low rating as we had the house to ourselves and everything matched the description, including the drinking water. The owner was VERY responsive in communication. Friendly cats around the property (plus all the interesting wildlife). Owner added kitchen & bathroom supplies helped with our short-term rental. I wouldn't hesitate to re-book if we stay in the area again.

This was a lovely home sourround by a beautiful landscaping. You must be able to sleep with minimum airconditioning as they turn off every four hours. A/C is controlled by smart devices under the landlords control. This was one of the most miserable experiences we have had in all our years of traveling.

This was the perfect retreat for our Hawaiian getaway! The setting is perfect and quiet, as far as people go. The frogs lull you to sleep at night and the sound of the rain in the forest outside is so relaxing! We will definitely stay here again next time!

We loved our 2-night stay at the tree house. The property is large. Bedrooms are comfortable. There is a great porch where you can sit and not get wet when the rain comes. We got in late, and it was really dark but had no issues.

Location was terrific- walked to ocean cliffs most days. Property is beautifully curated. Lanai is where we spent a lot of time. Small kitchen and steep stairs to the loft were semi-drawbacks but did not detract from the overall scores. My husband keeps asking me to re-book here again :)

This was an amazing experience at a property that was better than advertised. Exquisite building design, eclectic decor style, and impeccable attention to detail! Plus, the owner was fantastic, with comprehensive and timely communication and support. We loved our stay! The lanai was perfect for sitting out and playing games at night. The grounds were beautiful! The walk to the beach cliffs was enjoyable. The location was good for visiting Volcanoes National Park and Hilo. Nala the kitty was an added bonus. Christina was very helpful with lots of suggestions of places to go and see.

All of our other nights in Hawaii were spent on oceanfront rooms. It was a nice to experience the tropical views of the island in our very own tree house. Love the sounds of the frogs at night and the birds in the morning.

My family and I stayed at Christina's treehouse for a week, and we loved it. The house was beautifully decorated and had great energy; the land was gorgeous, and we enjoyed the diverse plants and wildlife! Christina provided a lot of suggestions for activities to do around the island, and we enjoyed them. She was also very responsive to our messages. The location was great; near Paradise Cliffs and not far from Hilo. When we return, we will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed this unique property, especially the deck in the morning and evening. The stray cats were sweet and my daughter really liked having them around. Only issue was with the showers. The outdoor closed in shower was very hot and unable to change the temp; the indoor shower was chilly and the other outdoor shower ‘one with nature’ was just right. Other than that, the property was as described.

So beautiful and tranquil. Feels like your one with nature. Lime tree in back area. All natural shower in back. Cats were very cool, Nala would greet you on porch each morning. Paradise cliffs were amazing that you could walk to. Hilo was a short drive for everything you needed. Would definitely recommend this place!

The house, which my children called the Treehouse, was absolutely beautiful. We loved listening to all the birds and frogs in the jungle surrounding. The house was exquisitely decorated inside and out. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was immaculately clean. Host was great to work with and very responsive. Like living in the trees. Birds in the morning, frogs at night and ocean pounding waves can often be heard. Many separate spaces in a small home makes it seem larger. 1 acre property no neighbors to either side. Lanai is large and comfortable. Nice walking area. Beds are good. Would return.
