"The bedroom was a unique cave room giving us the experience we were expecting. However the down side was firstly the hotel was very difficult to find and you should make guests aware before booking that the restaurant is not onsite but in a sister hotel quite a walk away involving a steep hill up and then down. "I like the design of the room and the property. The room is spacious, but there’s no air conditioning. The hotel provided a fan, but it wasn’t enough, at least, for us. I’m not sure why the room lacks air conditioning, but I’m not sure about the technicalities or complexities behind stalling an A/C in a cave. The staff is friendly, responsive and always tries to do their best to serve you. The food in the restaurant is great with good options. "

"Suleyman, the owner, is Suleyman the Magnificient! He is a warm genuine person who puts guests at ease and provides unbelievable service. The stay at Upper Greek House was superb and the dinners at his other property just down the hill were delicious. The town is cute-- much better that Goreme. "Spectacular in many ways, but not without a few disappointments. The Museum Hotel is undeniably beautiful — the views over Cappadocia are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise when the hot air balloons fill the sky. The service overall was fantastic, and I really appreciated the thoughtful gestures throughout my stay — from the complimentary bottle of wine and desserts to the chocolates left in my room. My room was also upgraded on arrival, and I even got to choose the one I wanted, which was such a lovely touch. The Michelin-starred restaurant was mind-blowing — genuinely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Every course was exceptional, and the staff were wonderful. The spa was also incredible, and the hotel’s overall charm and sense of history make it truly unique. However, there were a few things that left me disappointed. My cave room, while authentic, felt quite eerie and dusty, which made it harder to relax. The activities offered through the hotel are extremely overpriced — about triple what you’d pay elsewhere for a private tour, and the “full-day” option ended up lasting only three hours. The takeaway breakfast was also surprisingly poor — just a few pieces of bread in a box and bad coffee, which really didn’t align with the hotel’s otherwise high standards. One experience that stood out for the wrong reasons was an encounter at reception. A female staff member assumed I wasn’t a guest when I asked where the restaurant was and rather bluntly tol"

"Very nice hotel. Excellent location on the same mountain as the Uchisar fort and a short walk to Uchisar town center where there are many nice restaurants and shops. Good price. Attentive front desk service. Nice restaurant with killer view. You will see balloons in the early morning from your room or even get to ride in one. Get ready for some stair climbing as the hotel is built into the cliffside. Uchisar is a good distance from Nevsehir airport, almost an hour drive. You can save a bit of money taking the shuttle service unless there are three or more in your party, then taxi is cheaper. They will offer tours. We took the "green tour," very nice, highlight was the underground city, but unfortunately it did deliver us to two tourist traps, a gem store and another store selling various food/supplement items. This might be of interest but you can just go back to the van and wait if you are not interested in that part. We also took the tour to the rug shop--I recommend skipping that as there is a heavy sales pitch."
