"Great place to stay for a week. It might not be the Ritz hotel but if you have a large group you won't find better value on lodging anywhere. The rooms are built fairly critter repelling, but the first night a little green frog got in. I don't mind frogs though, it's Costa Rica after all! Pura Vida!"

"The location is beautiful as advertised. Beautiful views and a nice club house with a pool. Great place to kick back and enjoy. Taniya is great to work with. Just make sure she has your cell so you can text back and forth. Only thing is to make sure the fans are in the living room. It can get a bit toasty. But the ac units in the bedrooms were amazing. "Really large rooms with jacuzzi inside. Complimentary entrance and shuttle to Kitoku hot springs was a great bonus. Breakfast was fine - I’ve had greater variety and quality at other stays on this trip but it was good with standard Costa Rican and US options. Two things I felt could have been better a) in the hotel information and at breakfast there were lots of warnings of charges should patrons break the rules which I understand but felt a little unwelcoming, b) I was asked which restaurant I would like to eat at when I arrived and picked the informal option, and on arriving there was told I couldn’t eat from their menu as all their dishes were for a minimum of two people which was very unwelcoming for solo travellers. Whilst the staff tried to solve the issue and said I could order from their à la carte restaurant and have it brought down I needed to see the menu so changed restaurant. I don’t blame the staff for this, I’ve just never been to a restaurant where it’s entire premise is you have to be in a group 2+ and found the experience alienating."
