The rooms were decent but lacked finishing. Hot water was abundant. We were happy to find TV channels in English, Nepali and Hindi. The wifi generally worked. Breaksfast was made hot when we came but without option or choice of food. The breakfast is served on the outdoor terrace and it is lovely on warm mornings but for cooler mornings, we would have enjoyed an indoor seating option. We stored our luggage upon check out for a few days and appreciated the complimentary service. Overall the place is decent. No real complaints about anything. I had the breakfast included in my rate. It consisted of toast, eggs, coffee, and some grilled potatoes. Decent enough. They have wireless on all the floors, but like most of the internet in Kathmandu it was a bit slow and tended to go out periodically. Not really the fault of the hotel, but of the capital's infrastructure. The toilet was a bit gross, but mainly because it didn't deliver enough water to fully flush the contents away. If you just pressed the button for a longer period the toilet would fully flush. It is in a great location because it was close to the Yak and Yeti hotel (the conference location) and still in the heart of the Thamel district (the main tourist strip). The restaurant next door was good. They also allowed me to keep a motorcycle that I was renting in their basement for safe storage. The room and the attached bathroom was clean. There were no toiletries given however. The staff was really friendly and the hotel owner gave us a good rate to exchange USD to nepalese rupees, which was better than the rate offered outside. Hotel rooms with enough space in quiet zone in Thamel gave me good sleep. Atmosphere of the hotel is like a local business hotel.
