Kathisma Beach

We had such an amazing time at Contessina celebrating our anniversary/my partners belated birthday. As soon as we arrived the staff were so lovely and welcoming – we were delighted to be given an upgraded room with a private pool this truly made our trip extra special and we were so grateful for that!! Overall the ambience of the hotel is sooo peaceful, from the well equipped gym, the gorgeous poolside bar and chill areas to the exquisite breakfast. This hotel is a must stay in Zakynthos! We wanted to say a special thanks to Christina at the bar who made the best cocktails and was truly a ray of sunshine to see every day! Excellent stay, very walkable. Close to town and a variety of shopping options. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. A definite must return.

If you like peace and quiet, space and a great breakfast then this will be heaven. Suites are stunning. Large, comfy bed, great shower and lounge area inside. Outside is also large with super comfy sunbeds, personal pool and shaded area. Fresh pool towels every day was lovely. Locally this is a sleepy area and you have to like hills! Every walk involves some degree of hill walking - even to the supermarket and local restaurants. There are 4 very good restaurants in easy reach but you need to travel further to get a bigger choice. We hired a car which was very easily arranged by the hotel. Beautiful peaceful stay 💓
