Fair warning this is a 3 star hotel not a 5 star as advertised. For the money there are much better options in the city.
Pros: breakfast was excellent. Atrium looks impressive. Ambience for the restaurant in the front of the property (yurt in a nicely landscaped lawn area).
Cons: hotel is tired looking and in serious need of renovations. Atrium smells of diesel fumes i suspect being used to power the glass elevators. Rooms have some tech upgrades (electric curtains, lots of light button options, tv and google alexa voice cube) however dismal air-conditioning. The coolest I could get my room was 24 degrees. They did switch my room but same story in the second room despite a visit from maintenence to check the ac.
'It's very small' as per him. Do not stay here if you prefer sleeping in a cool environment.

Great generously sized room, helpful reception staff and super speedy and good laundry team. Breakfast was nice. Steam room, sauna and pool were nice.
Central location in Almaty. Hotel was a very dependable and helpful place to stay
Note that entrance has some steps.

"Great place, super clean, quiet, spacious with great guests and professional staff who speak English. Laundry is 500 tenge and there is plenty of space for bicycles. The rooms have AC too. Would recommend 110%"
