Our room was very old, musty smelling and in desperate need of a renovation. Cracked walls, missing light bulbs or no bulbs at all, water damaged doors and old torn bedding. If you could see past those things the potential for this place to be restored to its original beauty is definitely there. We appreciated the attempt to clean the room and the towels were very nice, large and sparkling white. The care takers or owners didn’t speak English so we needed our translator, but they were very friendly and kind which helped us overlook the flaws. The property was so beautiful and peaceful, it’s a shame to see it lacking so much. It said that there was a restaurant on site, but we didn’t see anything of the sort nor did we get a tour of any other part of the hotel. It was a strange set up so we didn’t know how far we could really explore. There is a restaurant about five minutes down the road where we enjoyed dinner one night but we had to drive about 25 minutes to the next town so that we could have coffee and breakfast in the morning. An onsite restaurant would have been very convenient due to the location of this place. I don’t think we would return here unless it had a complete renovation….
