Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and real sense of luxury. The pool and grounds are so tranquil and calm and everything is immaculate The staff are attentive and professional and the setting is beautiful with giraffe and zebra roaming around - so lovely. Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

We spent a really nice evening staying at the Lodge. The property is in excellent condition and really well kepy. Staff were extremely helpful and the food and service were great.

From check in to check out this was a fabulous stay. Food was amazing and served in the wonderful Boma area. Devin as host was great, incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora and also great with ideas for local trips. Brilliant morning walk before moving on. We had 2 nights here chilling before headinginto kruger and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely rooms, nice communal areas, helpful staff and a delicious breakfast by the pool. Great for a stop over or longer. They recommended a driver called Peter who took us on to our main destination in Sabi Sands. He was excellent and really good company for the drive.

Only stayed one night coming back from our stay in Kruger but as soon as we got there we realised we should have booked for two. There are loads of things to do in the area that we were interested in and on site there were walks we could have taken surrounded by nature. WOW!! From the second you arrive, to the moment you leave you are treated like royalty. This family run business in the mountains is the perfect getaway. All the family members are extremely friendly, professional and have a great knowledge of the house and the surrounding area. We had a fantastic stay at Monwana game lodge. Nikki was a great host and Werner and Morris were a fantastic duo as ranger and tracker. Would highly recommend this truly memorable place to anyone and the small intimate nature of the lodge makes it even more special.

We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!
