It's an absolutely fabulous location, perched on top of a mountain with gorgeous views down to Paleochora and the sea. The vast outdoor space was alive with bees and butterflies. Large brids circled above. The sounds of distant goat bells just emphasised the utter peace. It was a wonderful place to be… when the weather was fine.
Unfortunately the weather was not fine for about half the days we were there: winds, rain and the cloud base lower than the property. We found the interior cold and dark, and there were few surfaces not taken up with ornaments or equipment. Cooking was particularly difficult, with very little worktop space. This should not be all that hard to fix.
Overall, though, we had a good time and would not hesitate to recommend it… in fine weather.
