However, after the booking was confirmed, I received a call from the property stating that the booking had been opened erroneously due to a system glitch and that the stay was not actually available. I was then advised that an alternate option would be provided. Unfortunately, the alternate accommodation offered was completely unacceptable and nowhere close to what was originally booked: The alternate stay was a basic 2 BHK home, with no basic toiletries, towels, or standard amenities provided. The location was not accessible by auto or cab, causing major inconvenience. My original booking included breakfast, which was not provided at the alternate accommodation. I specifically chose Tea Garden Stay for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Due to this booking error and the poor substitute provided, my entire trip was severely disrupted.
