"The breakfast here was excellent, with tons of options. We got to see one of our two nights of northern lights during our eight nights stay here, which was absolutely incredible. The room was quite cold and we couldn't find the thermostat to turn anything up, so that was a little bit of an inconvenience. The room layout was a little bit strange as well, along with the embroidered pillows. I know it feels more country style, but they are definitely not comfortable to lay on all night. I would definitely stay here again though, I'm just being nitpicky at this point."

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. After a long day of driving and exploring, it was the ideal place to unwind. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and everything about the stay felt easy and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend Hali Country Hotel to anyone traveling along the South Coast—it’s a great place to stop and rest while taking in the beauty of Iceland."
