My partner and I have just returned from our fifth visit to The Tuvana and can thoroughly recommend this marvellous hotel! The buildings are beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Despite being at the heart of the old town, it has a good size pool / poolside area which is blissful at the end of a busy day sight seeing!. Konyalti beach is also a short tramride away and the old quarter offers plenty of rug buying opportunites and fab, inexpensive restaurants. Must mention Tuvana's breakfast - we had enough to see us through the day - delicious!
Personally I'm looking forward to my next visit - 'Special Class' sums it up!
This hotel is in a great location for exploring the Old City, as it is only a minutes walk to Hadrian's Gate. Staff were extremely helpful with making reservations and parking our vehicle. Rooms were decorated nicely and our bed was very comfterable. Breakfast was sufficient with the usual Turkish fare. I would stay here again and recommend to others.
Couldn't ask for a better location at a better price. Quaint older building, nice lobby and courtyard.
Clean and small room that a king bed had been shoehorned into . A queen bed would have been better in that space. Quiet location with no evening street traffic.
The mattress may have been the lumpiest I have ever encountered, too worn to get comfortably lay on. Actually getting to sleep on it wasn't going to be an issue as the Air Conditioning wasn't working, and that's a big problem in Antalya in the summer. The hotel staff tried their best and provided a fan on request, but it approached 30 degrees inside the room.
Room was comfortable and well appointed. Pool is absolutely lovely although I was disappointed to find out that what looked like a hot tub in the photo is actually a kiddie pool. Lots of lovely shady outdoor spots for relaxing and an extraordinarily attentive staff.
Alp pasa was a great hotel to stay in for the week, it offered true traditional surroundings and rooms with a great service and care of the customers, would recommended this place to anyone- it provided great hospitality and the food was also very good
We stayed at the Prime Boutique for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The hotel was very clean with great facilities without being too large and impersonal. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the manageress and most spoke good English. The rooms were large and we were lucky enough to have a view of the sea. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the view overlooking the Mediterranean sea and Taurus mountains was very impressive. Was lovely to have a pool to cool down in and the location was good with a tram stop just round the corner to take you into the old town and the beach. Even after we had checked out, we were able to use the hotel showers and changing rooms to freshen up as we had an evening flight. Overall we had a very relaxing and peaceful time at the Prime Boutique and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
Most of staff speaks English and are happy to help with directions or suggestions. The rooms was comfortable and clean. The frustrating thing was the wifi. The signal was poor to fair (1-2 bars out of 5) at best and it constantly made you log back in. It's a bit further out from the city center but there is an inexpensive tram (1.25Lira pp) just a block away the comes every 30 minutes. Quieter location was a bonus for us. But if you are looking for a hotel close to the beach it's far away. The tram will take you close but it's another 10 minute walk from there.
Also known as Old Antalya, the historic quarter of the sprawling modern metropolis retains its Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman influences. Architectural wonders abound, but Hadrian's Gate, the triumphal arch built to commemorate the Roman emperor's visit to this city, is the grandest of them all. Wander the maze-like streets to find a romantic restaurant in which to sample the finest local cuisine.
