Cappuccino bar next door, a brew pub serving IPA down the street, and no shortage of restaurants if you remembered to book in advance. Also this was a fun city to walk or use the streetcar. It was a great area to use public transportation for our adventures. We bought a 2 day CUTE Pass from the Tourist Information Center in CenTerrace shopping area. We were able to use it on the Kagoshima City Bus, the Kagoshima City View Bus, the ferry to Sakurajima, the Island View Bus on Sakurajima, and the trams in Kagoshima. Great deal!
