The service was very friendly, and the room was clean, but extremely small, with a bed that was basically uncomfortable for 2 people.

No complaint at all
Room is clean and in good shape, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, and it comes with pork sabu sabu, what a pleasant surprise. Hot spring pool is a plus.

Excellent location. Close to train station and the tram stop was right in front of the hotel. The city view bus was 2 blocks away.

A very nice stay at the hotel , close to the " old granary buildings , and with the Ohara museum , and a lovely Temple and Shrines and a park.....very quite and pleasent .

It's got everything you need.
A great place that was close to the major bus stop, train station, and shopping; all in walking distance from the hotel. Great public bath and excellent breakfast. Room was a little tight but for the value I expected that. Extremely clean. I'd stay again.

Best breakfast with plenty varieties
Hotel is nice and clean. Onsen is great, a must try.. Breakfast offers a lot of famous local dishes. Check the breakfast before you go to eat those "expensive" famous local cuisine. Breakfast is the best in my stays in 7 different hotels in this trip.

Good hotel in the center of town
Nice older hotel in the middle of town near the entertainment and dining center of the city. Clean rooms and nice onsen on the second floor. Tram from the train station stops right in front of the hotel.

Good hotel in central Kagoshima.
Good hotel adjacent to the third tram stop from Kagoshima Chuo Shinkansen station. Waterfront is walkable.

Convenient and value for money hotel
It is a typical business hotel but it has its own hotspring. Although small and basic, it is nice to have a hotspring bath after a long day travel. As for parking, one may need to pay attention to the height of the car. It is because the hotel's parking lot can't take "tall" car. Therefore, we parked our car across the road.

Great hotel, excellent location!
The streetcar station is right outside the hotel front door making it ideal to get paces in the city. It's a 15 minute walk to the Shinkansen and JR train station. The covered shopping areas of town are 5 minutes walking away. The hotel is very nice with a large onsen room. Sadly, I checked out too early to enjoy the breakfast.

Very good breakfast, amazing spread of Japanese and western dishes for only JPY 1080. Onsen at level 2 also very good. Car parking at hotel convenient, staff helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, very efficient polite service, cheerful hotel lobby area, inviting. We found the rooms a bit cramped for 2 people with suitcases, wife and I had to squeeze past suitcases to get into the bathroom. For 1 person room is OK.

Breakfast and onsen spa alone is worth staying.
rooms are a bit on the small size but with this location and rate, its normal for Japan. Wonderful Japanese breakfast buffet, with local cuisine represented well. Very nice onsen spa as well. Walking distance to restaurant / night life area. Will come back fir sure.

A short trip to Kagoshima
The breakfast buffet and the public bath were excellent! The hotel was clean and had friendly service. The only complaint I had was that the room was really small and the bed was very uncomfortable. However, the hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of a big shopping mall. I recommend Hotel Hokke Club Kagoshima.

建物は古いが部屋はとても綺麗で、スタッフの対応も丁寧で好印象でした。 朝食のバイキングは種類が豊富でとても美味しかったです。大満足でした、また利用したいと思います。
