We opted for a room in one of the cottages in the grounds. I was hoping for a view and a sunny terrace but the trees had grown too tall for this! It was quiet and felt very private but I don’t think the other 2 rooms in the cottage were occupied. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable . The included breakfast served in the attractive and comfortable lodge building was a different dish every day, beautifully cooked to order. No choice, but buffet items were available too. The...

The room was large and the bed comfy. It was dark and could do with better lighting but was adequate. Had a few queries but could only find staff once although he did try to help. Wasn't a problem. check out was easy, again we couldn't find staff but use the box for that purpose.

We only stayed for one night on our way to our final destination but we very much enjoyed our visit. The staff from the valet parking to the housekeeping and pool staff were all very pleasant and very helpful. There is a shopping mall across the street with a free shuttle service. The pool area was a particular favourite of ours.

We chose this hotel for its excellent situation beneath the mountains (so many places within an hour or two's drive e.g. Julian, Ramona, Agua Caliente...). Pleasantly surprised by the excellent room we were given with a great balcony overlooking the beautiful golf course. The bar on site was great and offered some serious bar food, with Restaurant adjacent too. Breakfasts in the morning were just what you would hope for. We also spent a lot of time at the large swimming pool which also has an...

Hotel is an oasis in the desert. The rooms were cool & the pool lovely. It was out of season when we visited so the dining options were limited but tasty.

Quirky resort with old themes buildings and vintage airstreams- one if which we stayed in. Some of the fixtures and fittings damaged/ broken but to be expected in an older vehicle however would benefit from a few repairs. Patio area for the airstream well equipt and felt quite private considering your surrounded by others. Pool area nice, however limited beds during the quieter season so may get quite crowded at high season. Overall an intersting place to stay, make sure you visit the badlands...

Lovely hotel this. Nice rooms with a terrace overlooking the pool. All the facilities we needed were here.
The resort and town were very quiet when we were there so limited choices for places to go to eat.
Main pool was closed but pool by spa was open and i think was a nice pool as not overlooked by rooms.
Look out for the roadrunners. So cute

Everything about Stanlunds Inn is lovely - the owners, the motel, the view and the area. We immediately felt at home and were so impressed that we added an extra night's stay to the two we had booked. Hope to return.
