We enjoyed a quiet night an NYE and got to enjoy Julian and Mt Laguna New Year’s Day. It had all the amenities to prepare a beautiful dinner and a perfect table that fit us all. We rented this place for two new nights for our daughters wedding at Pine Hill, which was 4 minutes away. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. This property met our expectations and more! The house was immaculate. Highend bedding, towels, curtains, appliances, and decor. We saw hundreds of wild turkeys and deer. We all had a great time walking around this neighborhood. Very peaceful and close to downtown Julian. My boys enjoyed chopping wood and gaming in the upstairs bedroom. It was perfect! The host did not respond for two days any of our questions or texts. She did not offer a phone number to contact her and we had an emergency but she refused to get in contact with us. Very frustrating, we stay in Vrbos often since it is convenient with a 2 year old kid, and this host was just the most unresponsive. We even got nervous driving to the house from San Diego, as we were not sure if the house would be actually available (given the woman was radio silence). For a house with this price I would expect a minimal amount of communication. That said, the property was clean, well located, we saw a LOT of deer and wild turkeys every day, and the heating system and wifi worked great. The kitchen pots and pans were great and the knifes sharpened, amazing! This would be our go-to new Vrbo in Julian if it wasn’t for the poor hosting, definitely. ##### Alicia O.
