"The fee this property has decided to charge for an early arrival was a major inconvenience. We had a birthday cake and a plant that we did not want to be ruined in a hot vehicle. My husband did not sleep well the night before and had hoped to get a nap before our kids arrived. Even though the staff were great and everything else was fine, we won’t be staying here again due to this policy. We had two suite rooms rented. A $30.00 additional fee for one hour is ridiculous. We checked with your competitor and they don’t have this policy so we will stay with them next time."

"The place is older but rooms were very clean. The pool and hot tube were nice and easily accessible. The breakfast was not the greatest. The biggest plus of this place is the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We had to add on extra rooms at the last minute and they managed to still get all of our rooms close together so we could be next to each other. Very helpful staff"

"Highly recommend this property for larger groups. We had 13 of us across 3 families and the house was perfect. Great amenities, beautiful views, well stocked house, awesome backyard and firepit make this an ideal spot. Hopefully the lake returns back to historical levels soon."

"We had a great time in my home town Chappell and loved staying at the home. The history is so cool! Read about Billy's military service from a book from the local insurance agency. I remember going to church with Hilda. Our stay was wonderful!"

"Had a great time with an annual summer trip to the lake done every year with family. Ages ranged from 7-14 and adults. The kids and teens loved the property. Short drive 5 min to beach access through vans lakeview fishing camp access with only a 20 min drive to get to martins Bay Area. Very clean- no dishwasher but hopefully this could be added in the future. Great views with a clean outdoor eating space and large propane fire pit for s’mores. Would definitely recommend if visiting the lake for all occasions. Will definitely be back again."

"Really nice, large property with great view of Big Mac. Rooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable, the family loved the back porch for enjoying the lake view! House was well equipped, we really didn’t need anything except our food. The huge attached garage space was wonderful, especially when the weather got rough, glad to have a place to keep our vehicles out of the hail! Host was responsive and easy to work with. Overall had a great time and would definitely stay here again."
