"This is a lovely hotel especially if you have kids or are looking to be around families and couples. It's 7mins walk to the beach which is lovely. The pools are well maintained and chocolate hour everyday is a treat. The downside, my initial room faces the mall next door so there was music playing at 7am which woke me. Then I was moved to a room also in the 27xx series and this time it was next to the bar. Luckily the music stopped early. Make sure you have wifi when you land if you order a transfer as I had to call the hotel since I waited for 30mins and the map of where the lounge is isn't particularly easy to read.
That said , it has amazing food ,staff and service."
"Hands down the best hotel/resort in Indonesia. The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. I would say this is my favorite hotel in the world. Much better than The W and The Ritz. Highly recommend."
"Excellent environment for creating long lasting memories, made even better by their outstanding and attentive service exceeding expectations. Would highly recommend."
"Beautiful beach, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and dinner! We were upgraded to a villa with a private pool which was amazing! I had two massages with Pri. Best massage ever! Highly recommend!! My husband had a massage therapist that he really liked named Dewi. I would definitely stay there again."
"I booked a stay at Cross Bali Breakers based on their marketing as a 'serene and soulful' retreat. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete case of false representation.
The property lacks the aesthetic quality and maintenance suggested by its online presence, but the primary issue was a total failure to disclose major local events. During my final night, a festival at the neighboring GWK park produced deafening bass that vibrated the villa walls from sunset until 9:00 AM the following morning. The room was physically uninhabitable for sleep. Despite having written confirmation via text from the front desk admitting the noise would not cease until 9:00 AM, management refused to provide a refund, offering only a late checkout which does not compensate for the loss of a night's rest.
To top off the miserable experience, the food was poor. I ordered a seafood rice dish that was clearly not fresh, where it appeared they attempted to mask the spoiled shrimp with a heavy, spicy sauce. The breakfast was equally mediocre and did not meet the standards of a high-end resort.
Ultimately, this property fails to deliver on its core brand promises. It is a significant lapse in professional hospitality to withhold information regarding known sunrise noise disturbances while charging a premium for a 'quiet' environment. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone seeking the peaceful, quality experience they advertise.
