Charming Creekside cottage along a beautiful part of Pine Creek. Direct access to the 62 Mile top ranked Pine Creek Rail Trail (USA today Ranked one of the Top Ten Places to Bike Ride). Watch Bald Eagles soar above the creek as you enjoy your coffee. Our modern cabin hosts a full kitchen equipped with up to date pots, pans, utensils, plates etc for and all needed utensils to make fun and complete meals(service for ten is there) The modern Bathroom features a new shower room and has ample high quality towels for a full family. Our beds all feature high thread count bedding. The living room Is Creek facing and full glass to look out onto the creek. The cabin has a large Flat Panel TV and Blu Ray player with High speed Fiber WiFi
Outside you'll find a large covered porch with chairs overlooking the Creek. The outdoor Fire pit is perfect for sitting by the Creek and enjoying a Fire daytime or under a Blanket of Bright Stars. We offer Hassel Free spilt, dry firewood onsite for your convenience. (No need to purchase by the bundle)
Walk out the back door to swim, fish, kayak, and enjoy the beauty of the Valley. Out the front door is a short walk to access the 62 mile Pine Creek Rail Trail. We are a PET friendly Cottage as well

Amazing location and host!

My girlfriend and I loved this cabin! The river view cannot be beat and hiking access is incredible. There are so many provided amenities and the space itself feels cleanly and modern. Additionally- on two occasions we contacted the host and they were immediately available and accommodating, even after our stay. We can't wait to come back 😄

Lovely time in the valley

We have wanted to get up to the Pine Creek Valley to bicycle thru the PA Grand Canyon gorge. The cabin was perfect with the bike trail on one side of the property and river on the other. It turned out to be a little chilly to be on the trail everyday but the days we got in were perfect.

Lovely location and cottage

The cottage was extremely clean and everything needed for a nice mini-vacation was available. The cottage sits between Pine Creek and the rail trail so it doesn’t get much better than that! I wish I fished! Lots of places to hike and see the amazing views in that area. I will definitely be renting again and it sounds like my brothers will also at some point. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice cottage!

Perfect little getaway cottage. Has a nice size bedroom and bathroom. The living room and kitchen areas are spacious as well! The cottage was absolutely clean when I arrived and entry to the cottage was easy thanks to the instructions of the owners. Would absolutely stay there again! Thank you for the hospitality!

Awesome Vacatioin

It was the perfect place to access the Black Forest Trail, Golden Eagle Trail, etc. Access to all these trails and fabulous wild trout streams via bicycle was awesome. I enjoyed every minute even with wet feet and duct tape wrapped toes!

Property was cute and cozy. Right on the water. Well appointed kitchen with great cookware. Bathroom was spacious. Very nice washer and dryer which was great because it rained heavily one day. Host provided make up wipe and W-tips and detergent and toilet paper. Lots of cleaning supplies too. Would recommend for a couple looking to get away.

Peaceful retreat

Lovely little cabin along the river and right next to the rail trail. Great getaway to get away from the hustle of towns and touristy stuff, just a few other cabins and a trail nearby. Multiple cabins with same house number, which was confusing, but got it sorted pretty quickly. Internet speed was decent, which was nice because there's no cell service.

Loved being right on the creek.

We had a great weekend. The creek was right at the cabin they have concrete steps going into the water it was easy for us to access the creek with our chairs and tubes. The cabin was clean. Parking is not right at the cabin but it was not terrible and they have to wagons to move in your items. Camp fire each evening. The rail trail is also right out front, we should have taken our bikes. We will definitely go back.

Not the best choice with no car

We were there to ride the PCRT and had our car shuttled. Our plan was to ride to slate run for dinner but it was a bit too far and late… didn’t want to be caught on the trail after dark so it just didn’t work well for us. Poor planning our part. Owner was very open to suggestions for improvement. Kitchen was well stocked… we just didn’t have any food to cook and didn’t realize we could have ordered through Instacart. Hopefully that’s been added to the posting.

This was our first tme using verbo. Owner was responsive to questions. This cottage was so cute and cozy. It is close to the rail trail for biking. Kitchen fully stocked. Just bring your own food. Close to the creek. Very peaceful outdoors. We would stay again.
