Our villa stay on Jekyll Island was wonderful. We loved the location close to the beach. We also loved the bike paths around the island. Our villa was clean and had everything we needed including a work station for a little remote working. We would love to come back!
We came for a weekend convention. The condo was a short bike ride to a beautiful dock with a gorgeous marsh trail. Great bird watching! The condo was clean and well stocked. The bed is not a Queen- small disappointment but an overall great stay!
The unit was super clean. It had everything that we needed for a weekend getaway. The pool is right out the sliding glass door. Restaurant was a 2 minute walk. Highly recommended. We will be back again.
Lovely but breezy weather, we participated in a fundraiser for the turtle rehab center on the island. Four days of relaxation. We visited the historic district and the Village restaurants and shops and enjoyed a little beach time. Our VRBO was lovely and comfortable. Our only gripe was the living room TV, we prefer to be able to watch regular networks rather than all the specials; thank goodness tv in the bedroom allowed us to watch current news and programs. We will be back!
First impression of the Villas were great and that impression lasted the entire stay. Villa was beautiful and well kept up. Villa was clean and everything worked as it should. Only thing I wish was different is that keys could be left in the Villa even though office was on the way off the island, it still added an extra step to a long road trip home. Other than that I have nothing negative to say. The family and I will absolutely return.
Property location was perfect! The unit was just as described - we really felt as if we were on vacation as soon as we walked through the door! We were able to walk to Driftwood Beach (which need to be done at both tide levels), and we were able to bike to some great locations. Bike rentals were on site, which was a great plus for us. The restaurant was closed for renovation during our visit, which was unfortunate, but allowed us to seek out some other great spots to eat. One suggestion: get a Keurig. And a suggestion for others planning to stay anywhere on Jeykll Island - stop for groceries before you get there. That will save you lots of money (and time). All in all - we will definitely return to this unit.
The villa is great and we would stay again. We went there for our 15th anniversary. Unrelated to the villa itself, we arrived Sep 25 and Hurricane Helene decided to stay with us. We had no power almost all of our stay, gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores almost all closed. We had nightly curfews, and daily shelter in place. No air con, hot water, lights etc. Our only power was our Jeep to charge the cell phones, but that was limited by gas. Anyway, Jekyll Island is amazing. Driftwood Beach is a sanctuary and was in very close walking distance to this villa. We ended up cooking on grills with the little food we did have. A shout out to Striplings and Walmart groceries for being open.

Reviewer Comments:
This condo, Parker Kaufman and Jekyll Island are the absolute best. We enjoyed our stay so much that we booked another condo in the Villas for the same time next summer except this time we invited friends. Thank you so much for a great experience.
My sons and I absolutely loved this villa. We had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa felt very comfortable and inviting! The realty company was easy to work with and did very well with communicating. The proximity of this villa to the pool was very helpful with determining exactly when the best times to swim were. We are definitely looking forward to next year's stay at Villas by the Sea and if this villa is available during our trip next year, I'd definitely rent it again!!
Excelllent. Never did see the Property Mgr. Probably my fault. I left the key in the condo. It's not really a negative, because, usually the only reason you see the mgr, is if there's a negative.
Great condo. Looks out over the pool. Nice and clean inside. Bed is terrible. Lots of noise when you move around. Too soft. Huge sag in the middle. Had to sleep on the couch for the 3 nights.

We had to change our week of vacation and Parker Kauffman was very accommodating for us! The room was great. Me and my husband traveled with our two young children . We did not use the pull out sofa but instead brought their travel cots and they fit in the bedroom. It was tight but they did fit. Our daughter is outgrowing her little cot, so next time we will be using the pull out sofa. The mattress on those are quite thin so I would bring something to cushion the top. There was extra child lock on the front door (a chain lock) and on the sliding glass door there was the lock on the handle and the bar lock. I had brought a stick on lock for extra security for the sliding glass doors but my 3 year old did not try to open the door once it was locked. The only two things I did not find in the kitchen was a pizza roller to cut and an ice cream scoop. On the flip side of that, this was a fully stocked kitchen! We were able to cook daily and with littles, that’s so important. Being right at the pool was amazing bc my husband could take the kids out there while I fixed their food and snacks and whenever they needed to use the restroom it was an easy and quick walk. Wry important when you have a potty training 3 year old. We had friends on property and they also enjoyed the convenience of our room to the pool. The bedroom is on the back side so even though the kids went to bed before the pool was empty, the noise did not bother anyone. You could hear people in the pool but it did not bother us. Once the tv is on, you can drown it out. My son was even able to nap during the day on the couch and it still was not overbearing. Overall this was one of the best stays we have had with our kids. The bathroom was a little cramped trying to shower two kids (no tub) but I managed. I would say we could stay in this unit again with our small kids bc they can sleep on the pull out sofa but as they both grow, I would say this room would be a little small for a family of four with b
Always enjoy our stays at the Villa's. Unit was well kept, clean and comfy.
Close to the boardwalk and beach.
Queen bed was our only complaint. Noisy and the 6 inch foam pad on top of the mattress made it feel like (sleeping on a banana).
A new bed in this unit would make a world of difference.
