The bike/pedestrian trail is located across the street from the house, halfway between the Pier and the Historic Area (2+/- miles each way). Had some extras like toys for kids, well stocked kitchen, beach towels and supplies, first aid kits. However many light bulbs were out, ice maker was so slow we had to buy ice, cleanliness left much to be desired (floors, under couch cushions, under beds) and the house accommodated 14 but there was only 1 table with 6 chairs so we could not enjoy a meal together and that was disappointing. Enjoy many great views of the island on walks and short drives from location. Suggestion would not only be watching sunrises and sunsets but to take advantage of bike rentals to enjoy the beauty of the island. The owners are kind, responsive and had great communication before and during trip. My only suggestion to guests would be to note the island daily vehicle pass fees and for large groups to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels with you.
