This home is located on Cherokee Reservoir and near Jefferson City, which has cafés, restaurants, and shops and is home to Carson Newman University. Rent a boat at the local marina and be docked at the house in minutes! Take a tour at the Glenmore Mansion, or hit the links at Lost Creek Golf Club. Take a day trip to Knoxville, just 33 miles. Mountain adventures are less than 40 miles away at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with its hiking trails, fishing streams, and incredible fall foliage. Overall, our stay was good, it was on the water where my son was fishing and 15 minutes from the landing they had to put in at. Communication was excellent and quick as needed. We got in at 1 am and to our surprise the drive way was very steep and narrow. Normally, this wouldn’t be an issue but we had a bass boat on a boat trailer. The 2 bedrooms upstairs only had lamps, the rooms were very dark. There were bugs and leaves on the stairs and floors. There were spiderwebs on the couch, it looked like the house had been closed up for the Winter.
