"This is an older property but it is very well kept. The walkways were well lit. The breakfast was simple but plentiful. It was great to be able to order breakfast the night before. Our room was very very nice. It was spacious, well laid out. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Best of all, it was very clean. We absolutely recommend the Coastal Inn Antigonish and hope to visit again. "

"Very disappointed in the condition of our accommodations, service provided and overall experience at this establishment. There was a musty smell that hit you upon entering the room (instructions for dehumidifier to run were posted but it was not running upon entrance). There was a mouse trap under the sink, not what you want to see in a rental space. Breakfast was not provided. The door to the main area where the INCLUDED breakfast was located was locked upon our first try and when it was unlocked there was next to nothing available. All that was visible was dry cereal, no milk! Will never stay here again or recommend this property to others. Also the host/reception was rude and unpleasant and seemed ‘put out’ when asked questioned. Parking was also inconvenient as we were made to park in an uneven gravel driveway instead of in a paved parking area that could accommodate rough twenty five cars that was only hosting two. We were instructed that the parking of our vehicle needed to remain closer to the house on property in the sloped gravel driveway. For $300 a night this was terrible value for money! Never again. "

"The apartment was very clean, had all the basic amenities that I could ask for with one exception: heat. The heat in the apartment didn't appear to work or at least not well. I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the apartment but, while I was there, despite the heat being turn up to the maximum, it never warmed any more than 11 C. Had to specifically purchase extra blankets and sleep in a sweater."
