"If you are looking for a very peaceful, serene getaway to completely reset, book this place immediately. The quiet, beautiful atmosphere makes it a true sanctuary.The hospitality here is next level. Jackie was incredibly nice and welcoming from start to finish. Jonathan went out of his way to take gorgeous birthday pictures for me the second I asked. The absolute hero of my trip was Kristine, who literally saved me when I found myself stranded in the middle of nowhere!This team protects your peace of mind, I am telling everyone about this gem, and I am definitely coming back to the Emerson!"

"Absolutely wonderful stay. Would love to book again! We loved having coffee by the creek every morning and the views from our living room window. We stayed in the 2 bdrm bc it was the only option available but it was nice to have the extra space. Dinner and the little stove in the living room were so great. Very close drive to farm stands and some of our favorite places for a cocktail"

"Location was perfect for a short drive to Hunter Mountain, Kaaterskill Falls & Rail Explorers. The house is set off the road making it feel isolated. You do have a house that sits in front but with the trees along the property keeps your privacy is intact. The house itself was lovely. A unqiue lay out with the kids loving the upstairs to themselves. The kids loved the rock painting that the owners had set up in the living room. Beds were super comfy & the living room was cozy. Home was clean!We had some trouble getting into the house with our access code not working. But we were able to reach customer service right away & helped us get into the property.Definitely recommend & will use agin for our next trip to the Catskills!"

"The owners and staff are very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in the deluxe double room. The oven and refrigerator in the room could use some attention and cleaning. Bathroom well stocked but shower was basic. Could use a little refurbishing."

"We loved this little place! Super cute with a lot of nice details! It had everything we needed and more! It is a good distance from the main house on the property and there was no one staying there at the time, so it was nice and quiet. The only thing which I wouldn't even call a problem was that we couldn't figure out how to get the washer/dryer to dry our clothes. Maybe it was just us. Anyway, we would definitely stay there again!"

"Lovely indeed! The cabin was clean, warm, and inviting...we loved the books on the history of the Ashokan Reservoir and identifying animals by their tracks and scat. The frogs in the little stream a few yards from the cabin were fun to watch. The beds were comfortable, and wow, was it perfectly dark there at night!I wish it hadn't been overcast so we could do some stargazing, because I think out in the clearing would have been a PERFECT spot."

"What an adorable property! Everything was as it is described and Sean and Emily were super responsive, especially when we had a minor issue with the shower. It’s a perfect location for everything you want to enjoy in the area and the fire pit was a great way to end the night. We will definitely book again the next time we want to visit Woodstock and Bearsville."
