"Property in a good location with quick access to centre of Niagara-On-The-Lake and to dozens of wineries. Parking was good. Staff were friendly and overall, great. Hotel has no elevator. Our room on second floor was clean but small, particularly the bathroom. Beds were good but pillow were poor as was the bedsheets. Not sure what they are made of but not soft and actually noisy when you moved. Felt “plasticly”. Weird! In summary, room was okay and staff was excellent. Breakfast was very modest but the ladies looking after the breakfast were wonderful. Carol was one and lady on second day I can’t remember her name but both were terrific. I would rate our stay 4 out of 5 stars. RB"

"Good accommodation. The bathroom could do with a deep cleaning. Breakfast was good but in a few areas interesting. For example only one sausage or one piece of bacon. One morning the host was unable to make breakfast & gave us a Tim Hortons gift card. A little unusual. Host could be a bit more engaging. Good service but a bit stilted. "

"Perfect place to explore the region in! Very clean both inside and out. Very responsive hosts with a simple check in and out process. The house was somehow even better than the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with everything (and more!) that we needed! Very walkable area with walkable restaurants, wineries and a brewery. "

"We had a great stay here. Simple, clean, and in a perfect spot, and honestly ideal for a relaxing weekend.Everything was exactly as advertised, but with a few thoughtful extras that made it stand out. When we arrived, there were neatly folded towels set out for each of us with a small face cleanser on top, and a whiteboard welcoming us by name, which was a really nice touch.The place itself was perfectly clean and smelled great. The bed was extremely comfortable, and it was quiet both inside and outside, so we slept really well. The temperature was easy to manage and overall it just felt easy to settle into.The location is a major highlight. It is a short walk to the main strip in Niagara-on-the-Lake and literally a stone’s throw from Pillar and Post. The area felt quiet and safe, and parking was very easy in the driveway. It can easily fit two large vehicles.The kitchen is fully usable if you actually want to cook, not just for show. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure, the WiFi was very fast, and everything worked exactly as expected. The layout felt comfortable for the size and did not feel cramped.Communication with Roland was excellent. Clear, responsive, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Check in was smooth with no issues.Overall, it felt like a mix between a home and an upscale hotel. We would definitely stay here again."

"Maplewood House was fabulous! The PERFECT family gathering place. Everything comfortable, clean, kitchen everything you need! Even a laundry room so you can get dried up after a rainy day. Rooms very comfortable. Lots of bathrooms. Loved all the different spots where we could have different things going on at the same time — some playing air hockey, some watching the hockey game, some hanging out in the kitchen making meals! Barbecue excellent to have. Nice walkable distance from Main Street and the Court House Theatre close by too. We would highly recommend this place to stay!"

"Excellent location in NOTL. Close to wineries, restaurants ( highly recommend The old Winery) & shopping. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, projector, & the home itself was large & had everything we needed. The bed/pillows in the master bedroom was super comfortable however the 2 upstairs bedrooms were a little hard & other quests didn’t sleep very well. We appreciated the kitchen setup & coffee, salt/pepper, oil, basic utensils, pots/pans were provided. Great communication from host & easy checkin. Thank you!"
