"Small rural town but several good places to eat, staff recommended some. Chose this town on visit to see the famous mounds because of low crime rates compared to many other towns in the region, perhaps it is because Henderson town has a religious college. Room was quite clean, though maybe some chipped paint, a little carpet fraying, worn edges on some furniture. Heat pump worked perfect, with digital controls. Pictures of lobby and rooms are accurate. Pool was drained as it was not yet open...

"For a typical highway exit motel this is a pretty good one. Greeted very enthusiastically at the desk. Like most comparables, it is surrounded by large parking lots. Restaurants only a short drive away."

"This is a very quaint and off the beaten path place to stay. It’s a bit older, but the sheets and bedding’s were very clean. The surrounding area is very spartan/rural, but extremely peaceful. Very easy access to petrol stations and it’s right off or onto the interstate. "
