We had the Private Pool Garden rooms. Great rooms, very nice and have everything you need. Private pool is nice, but for our visit was a bit too cold. We were there in October near end of season. Location is good for getting into Old Town, and for tour to Lindos. We used taxi everywhere. The breakfast staff was fantastic, and the front desk very helpful. The spa staff and pool staff not so impressive, they weren't eager to make your stay great. The spa is a bit lacking. The facilities aren't very well supplied; ie. not towels in locker rooms, no amenities... and the facilities aren't really impressive, just nice. I really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
Couldn't have wished for a better hotel whilst staying in Rhodes. It's so grand and very posh but staff very down to earth and super friendly! Amazing room that was cleaned thoroughly everyday and the sea view from our balcony was the icing on the cake!! Breakfast was top notch too, especially enjoyed the omelettes being made to order for us! Would highly recommend this hotel!

The garden suites were perfect for families. There were two rooms, so plenty of space. We had a small kitchenette in our unit which was helpful. The beach across the road is pebbles, which isn't ideal with children, but we knew that when booking the hotel. We drove a short distance to sandy beaches.

Just returned from a lovely two week holiday in Rhodes staying at the Dionysos Hotel. We stayed on a B&B basis and I have to say the breakfast was excellent. A great choice of cereals, breads, fruit, yogurts, cakes/pastries, hot food, etc. everything you could possibly want.
The hotel staff were fantastic. Everybody was friendly and helpful and always had a smile. They seemed to genuinely like their guests (not always the case in hotels) and want to do everything to ensure that guests had a good stay.
The only things we really found annoying about our stay here was (a) the Wi-Fi and (b) the smoking.
The Wi-Fi was not great - you had to pay €20 a week - per device. That, in and of itself, is not really the issue. The problem was that the Wi-Fi was constantly dropping out or not connecting at all. And it was incredibly slow. This was a bit problematic as we needed to keep in contact with our families back home and the slowness of the Wi-Fi made it difficult.
And the smoking - oh boy. Smoking was allowed in the restaurants, bar and by the pool. For a pair of non-smokers this was genuinely horrible. The amount of times we had just sat down to eat only to have people on the next table light up was, quite frankly, annoying. We asked for a non-smoking room (which we got), but the balcony had an ashtray so the people in the rooms next to ours smoked on their balconies and, of course, we got the smoke smell in our room.

A purpose-built seaside resort, Ixia lies on Rhodes' north coast, three kilometres from Rhodes Town, and 11 from the airport. Along the coastal road is a string of large hotels set in landscaped grounds with pools. The long, narrow pebble beach is equipped with sunloungers, umbrellas and water sports facilities. Thanks to the north wind, windsurfing is popular here.
