This was simply one of the best accommodation choices I have made in years! My room was large, bright and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the coast. The manager was very polite, enthusiastic and friendly. He showed how much he values his guests. I had selected a breakfast option before arriving and had delicious local food brought to my room in the morning. Drinks, pool and onsen are all provided in this hotel. I informed the manager that I will definitely be back and he seemed to be pleased. The village of Usami is lovely and quiet during the week. We also ordered breakfast and dinner (no lunch available）and the dinner is quite extensive with many dishes, mostly of high quality. Hotel room is relatively large and mostly well furnished although we did have an issue with a drainage pipe which the hotel fixed quickly. Overall, a nice room with great view and very good food, the price/performance is quite high. The main negative is it located away from even Usami itself and it's very difficult to get taxi if you can't use Japanese to call a taxi. The free drinks was an amazing perk. We had breakfast both days we stayed, it was brought to our room, and we were given the choice of Japanese or U.S. traditional style. We had a very nice view of the ocean.
