Moxy Taksim is conveniently tucked away close to Taksim square in Istanbul, so you're close to all the restaurants, shopping and fun in the neighborhood. I enjoyed my layover stay at the hotel, the bed was super comfortable and exactly what I needed to feel rested.

The property and the history on the location of this hotel was very interesting. The hotel lobby was amazing different rooms with different looks and different games available makes sitting and reflecting enjoyable. The room was very clean staff was great always happy to answer our questions the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel the best thing was the location walking distance to all the shopping area’s restaurants and metro. I would stay there again.

I have stayed only for two nights but the stay was very nice. The room was small but spotlessly clean, very modern and well equipped. After all the hotel is only 1.5 years old. Staff very friendly and attentive. Very young but nice folks with good English. The only problem was that there were constantly people smoking outside of my window on the first floor so I could not let the windows open. Also the area is in general very busy/loud but this is Taksim! It is not the fault of the hotel. So bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper like me. Practical: Restaurants, cafés, bars and kiosks are just outside the door within 5 m distance. You won‘t be hungry in this street - and area.

The bad: very difficult for taxi pick up / drop off. It's quite a steep uphill walk from the Bosphorus waterfront. Shower room is extremely small / uncomfortable. Breakfast is so-so. No good views. The good: very clean. Comfortable firm mattress. Very quiet. Most of the staff are friendly / helpful. Excellent light blocking room curtains. Close to public transportation.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is attractive, centrally located, and very convenient to major public transportation. I especially liked being close to Taksim Square and just steps from İstiklal Street, which made getting around and exploring the city very easy. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day, with a good selection at a reasonable price. The gym is fairly small and limited in terms of equipment, but it was adequate for a basic workout. I also appreciated the complimentary bottled water and towels that were readily available. The staff generally seemed somewhat reserved, although Ali was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The security staff at the entrance also deserve mention, as they were consistently friendly, smiling, and welcoming whenever I entered or left the hotel. The rooms are small, as advertised, but comfortable and well appointed. The air conditioning was excellent, which is definitely worth mentioning if you are visiting Istanbul during the warmer months. Storage space is limited, so if you are staying for more than a few days, expect to keep some of your belongings out rather than neatly stored away. My room was very quiet, which I appreciated, and faced north toward the city. I wouldn't choose this hotel specifically for the views, however, as it is closely surrounded by other buildings and businesses. Overall, excellent location, easy access to transportation, comfortable accommodations, and reasonable amenities.

The Moxy is really a great place to stay. It is my second time. The staff is wonderful and very warm and friendly. The hotel is new and exceptionally clean and has warmth and character and does't feel indifferent to guests. The gym is small but really nice and great quality. I slept so well here and it is so convenient to get around including the shuttle to the airport. I would stay here again upon returning. 🙂

The actual hotel staff was really nice, housekeeping staff was amazing. The hotel and their reservation team is a big scam though. I booked for six nights and my booking explicitly stated that breakfast was included. Upon checking in I was told my booking didn’t come with breakfast. I showed them my reservation email confirmation and they said they’d check with the reservation team. Never got back to me and even when I tried to reach the reservations team directly they never responded so ended up getting no breakfast for all of the six days we were there. There was also always a nasty smell in the hallways unfortunately.

We had a good stay at the Moxy Istanbul Taksim. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, the room was clean and modern, and the location made it easy to get around the city. The lobby has a lively, welcoming atmosphere, and breakfast was simple but fresh and good choices.The main thing that stood out was how attentive the staff were throughout our visit.
