The amenities are great and the area seems really safe. Solo traveler here and I primarily stayed at the hotel because it felt like a resort as it has 2 amazing pools and was beach side with accessible beach chairs for guests staying at the hotel. Staff were also great.
This place is amazing. Beautiful beach, nice pools, and big clean room. The check-in staff are very friendly and pleasant. The property is so pretty and the view of the mountains can’t be beat. From the beach looking towards the resort has a gorgeous “backdrop” of the mountains. The sand is soft with no rocks or seaweed. The complimentary lounge chairs & palapa is a big plus. The breakfast has a very good variety of foods. The location is perfect because you get the best of the great resort and you can take the train which is very close by and very safe directly into Palermo Central for only 3.30 Euros per person.
We will definitely stay here again and want to bring our family.
The place was very nice. Right on the ocean.
The breakfast was fantastic. There wasn’t much variety for lunch or supper. So we walked off the property.
I would NOT recommend the pedicure. It’s a “dry pedicure” it hurt so much! No water is used to let your feet soak. No lotion, nothing. So painful!
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel was better than what we expected. The location was great, by the beach, with a wonderful Terrance and gardens with beautiful views to the Mediterranean Sea. There is. Nice path to walk at night with bars and restaurants. The pool was very nice. I highly recommend it.
While we did not know what to expect and were simply looking for a hotel near the Palermo airport, this hotel was a very nice surprise. Great beach and friendly staff.
The hotel/rooms are very clean, spacious and fantastic sea views. The beds were comfy, bathroom was modern and there is a small fridge. The decoration is a bit dated but given how clean everything is, it adds to the charm of an authentic Italian hotel.
There were only Italian TV channels if you want to watch TV on holiday which we didn’t.
Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy or lots of choice, very Italian with the huge cake and sweets selection. Bread was fresh and very good. No cooked food except bacon and scrambled eggs. Salad, cheese/ham, yogurts.
It can get noisy at night with the entertainment (not sure if all rooms are the same, ours was sea view and next to the nightly dancing place), but at least the music was oldies, Italian, tangos, etc. so no bass/boom boom type music. I found I could sleep if the window was closed.
My only negative point would be the beach. It’s crowded, and gets dirty with cigarette butts, plastic, etc. People seem to leave rubbish behind everywhere. It was also VERY noisy, constant music from 9:30 to 18. I appreciate some people like this but I want to relax on the beach and listen to the sea, I don’t need constant loud lively music. The sea however was beautiful and warm, which saved the beach experience.
Unfortunately, most of the beach are concessions so there is nowhere else to go.
Most guests were Italian which added to the authentic Italian feel.

I didn't enjoy sleeping on the hard plastic wrapped bed. Very sterile and stripped down. I also hated that there was no hot water kettle or coffee maker in the room. It was a pain having to walk to the lobby for hot water. The breakfast was good though

Close to the beach and great breakfast including GF options. The water took a long time to get hot.
The private beach is in front of hotel with sun loungers and sun umbrellas for guests included in the price.
Delicious buffet dinner.

Facility was really clean , the stuff at the restaurant was really rude , I don’t recommend this hotel at all you come on vacation to se angry faces no thank you , and I’m talking about the stuff on the kitchen and dining ara especially the host lady
This is a nice hotel, with very attentive staff, and big rooms. The beach is beautiful and the mountains in the backdrop are stunning. Outstanding sunsets. Close to airport and Palermo. Food is buffet and so hard to get excited about.
Used for one night before early flight home to save the early morning drive across Palermo. Will definitely use again during next visit. The self service buffet evening meal is a very good value, with excellent choices for the money
I returned to the Saracen for the second time with my family.
I strongly recommend for family with kids, great fun with the animator team both on the beach with music, exercises and in the evening with dancs and entertainment.
The food was different and lots of variety however often it was not very warm and not much fresh fruits in the morning.
The customer service was very ice and all though it wasn't really that busy it was what we needed for the price. The rooms weren't as great as the pictures showed however we were only in them to sleep and that was ok. They provided GREAT SERVICE
Second time staying here for one night pre early flight home, had the buffet dinner which we had earlier in the year also but this time although good had a much reduced choice, we had recommended the stay to friends also and told them of the wonderful buffet so was disappointed

If you want a quiet holiday, this is not for you! Lots of large groups of holiday makers, loud music at both sides of the site. No options for eating unless you opt for full board (only one bar snack available, toasted sandwich) and limited bar options (the bar near reception closes at 5pm). But staff are helpful and welcoming, and premises kept very clean.
This hotel was where we stayed the night before our 6am flight home, so we were mainly there for proximity to the airport. It's still 16 minutes drive from the airport but the closest I could find. The staff were really helpful in lining up the shuttle to/from the airport, but the shuttle is pretty expensive, at 55 Euros at 4:30am. (35 Euros during the day.)
The room was clean and we ate both lunch and dinner in the hotel dining room. The food is reasonably priced and decent.
Breakfast was included in our room but since we left at 4:30am, they provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us.
My only wish was that there had been a way to walk out the back of the hotel down to the beach. I gather that it may be less safe to walk on the beach at night, but we would have gone down there during the afternoon if we'd been able to get through there.

If you book from a third party site, make sure they give you the right type of room. Breakfast options were limited. Air conditioning only went down to 22 degrees (hardly cooled the room). Room had tatty wallpaper in places. Too noisy to sit out and enjoy the balcony. The staff were very pleasant and polite. We will not be booking here again.
