I was a bit worried about the walk to the beach but it wasn't far at all, about 7 minutes. The grocery store is also close enough to walk to if needed. I recommend to put lights in the backyard or in the pool so it would be usable after dark. I would definitely stay here again. AvantStay also had great communication and offered us lots of great add-ons. I would definitely stay somewhere with their services. ##### Lindsey T. My daughter lives in Mt Pleasant and we wanted to do Thanksgiving with her this year. The house was great. The kitchen was a bit smaller than what I had hoped for since I was cooking the full meal but it worked out. The pool guy did come while we were there and that was a bit weird with a man walking around the backyard talking on the phone but when I asked he quickly identified himself and all was back good. It's Coastal South Carolina, so this is to be expected, but it was unpleasant. A dehumidifier and some scent diffusers could go a long way. There were several bugs/spiders but again, this is to be expected at peak summer in a humid environment. Everything else was great. My kids loved the pool. We each had our own rooms and bathrooms. The living area was spacious and comfortable. We were able to do laundry, and host friends with no problem. The house is very conveniently located near the Connector so it's easy to get on and off the island quickly. It met our needs for sure. Plenty of space, good location to get to everything. We did rent a golf cart. The weather was a little cooler (low 70’s) the week we were in town, so we paid to have the pool heated. This was the absolute perfect layout for a group of highly successful women who like their own space ! The remodel was so well done . Just as advertised. Only issues we had were ants in the master bed and the TV in that room wouldn't connect to the internet. The bedroom door handles kept falling off too.
