The house is lovely and has the best view in my opinion on Isle of Palms. The house is situated on the 17th fairway and looks out over the NorthEast corner of the island. You can see birds galore and beach walkers. The wind there is perfect for kites which we enjoyed! We had several issues with the house including a faulty HVAC unit, several broken chairs, and fairly significant faucet link in the kitchen that Sweetgrass was able to take care of during our stay. The house was very clean and the bedding and towels were nice. Supplies for cleaning and extra garbage bags were in short supply and there were only two dish towels so come armed with extra supplies for the kitchen. The appliances were first rate and the kitchen stocked well with utensils. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite the inconveniences with the repairs during our stay. The hot tub was fantastic and a favorite and was cleaned during our stay! Thst made it tough to keep all drinks and food cool for the week. You made need to bring or purchase coolers Kitchen was so well stocked but could not find a can opener Renting a golf cart was a game changer for us When we arrived at the pool they did not have us as registered guests but allowed us entry anyways, wasn’t thst big a deal since we just went once but beware Sitting out on the back deck at dusk was magical You will fight over the master suite on the first floor. We had a wonderful time even though the weather was unexpectedly poor, so we couldn't enjoy many of the IOP facilities, however we would definitely recommend this property highly--right on the beach, close to Golf, biking distance to tennis, association pool.
