Welcome to The Coastal Cottage, a renovated three bedroom beach home situated alongside a peaceful lagoon within the Pelican Bay Community of Wild Dunes Resort! This bright & airy beach retreat is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach and just around the corner from the Pelican Bay community pool. There are several gathering areas within the cottage -- you and your guests can relax & unwind in the living room, dining room, screened porch overlooking the lagoon or the open deck accessible from the master suite. Come, getaway from it all and experience this wonderful cottage for yourself!

Guests enter The Coastal Cottage by walking up the exterior stairs to the front door. Upon entering the cottage, you will find the living room, staircase to the upper floor, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom suite. You can access the private screened porch with outdoor dining table through the French doors in the dining room. The screened porch also connects to the back deck. Walk up the interior staircase to access the two guest bedroom suites on the second floor and the full sized washing machine & dryer.

The Coastal Cottage is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. Please be mindful of the residential character of the home during your stay.

NO PETS. NO SMOKING. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. This was the best vacation home we could have possibly stayed in! The house was so well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed or wanted during our stay. It’s clear that the owners of the house care about creating a beautiful and cozy home. Not only was the house a nice place to sit and hang out with friends, it was a great place to get some work done as well. The beach was so close, which made it nice to just pop over before we had something else planned to do. Would absolutely come back again!

This home was the perfect choice for myself and two best friends to stay for our annual girl trip! Each bedroom has its own bath and the kitchen has everything you need. And the beach access was a short walk away. It was perfect!

Pleasant stay

We found the house very clean with nice furnishings and comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood in a very well kept complex. We visited in February which made for uncrowded beaches and restaurants. We would recommend this house to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.

Easy Beach Relaxation

This house had everything we needed for an easy vacation at the beach! The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen is very well stocked and the indoor and outdoor living areas are perfect. The walk to the sand is maybe five minutes and to the water thirty seconds more. This is house in in a resort so the beach is private, clean, and an unexpected surprise. We will stay here again!

Girls trip

Fantastic find in Wild Dunes

We have stayed in many rentals and rooms in Wild Dunes and rank The Coastal Cottage our favorite. The house is just the right size for a family of five with teenagers. Wild Dunes beach trip

The Coastal Cottage had the perfect set up for our family of five. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook/grill. We enjoyed walking in the mornings around the island. Beach access is very close- a 3 minute walk. It’s also close to the grocery store and the marina. We had a fantastic family trip! We had a wonderful time. The pool and beach were very close, within walking distance. They had beach wagon , toys for the kids to use at the beach and chairs to sit in ,at the beach. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed.

Isle of Palms Peaceful, Pleasant Sanctuary

My husband and I were visiting our daughter in Charleston. The three of us decided to stay in Isle of Palms. Words can not express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Coastal Cottage. No stone was left unturned in this beautiful, clean, quiet home, and it had everything we could possibly need or want. The view of the pond with all of its incredible birds and wildlife delighted us all. The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes. Quite frankly, we didn't want to leave.

Great Stay

Family trip to Isle of Palms was amazing. The Coastal Cottage was very nice and just like the pictures online. We didn't have any problems with the beach house everything was thoroughly explaining in the how to and do's and don't prior to our trip, so we didn't have to reach out to anyone for assistance. The house smelled of bleach when you entered the house so we knew it was clean. The only problem we ran into was with the ice maker, it didn't work properly but ice trays were available to make your own ice. Not a big problem for us. We had the pleasure of seeing an alligator resting on the bank in our back yard which was nice to watch. He didn't bother us and we didn't bother him. Overall great stay and would return again. I loved the fact that Steven checked on us and gave reminders about our stay and check out procedures. Thanks again!

Lovely and Comfy

What a wonderful place to stay for our annual siblings’ and spouses’ getaway. The house is spacious and comfortable and very clean. The location is not in a busy area, but also very close to great restaurants and fun activities and sites. The hosts were very accommodating, answering texts quickly and kindly. We recommend this lovely house as a great vacation stay!

Wonderful Girl Trip!

For the second year in a row, we had a wonderful stay at The Coastal Cottage. My college roommates and I take an annual girl trip, and this home had everything we needed for a perfect long weekend stay. The home is spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is nicely stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware, and the beds are very comfortable. We loved sipping coffee on the back deck, and the beach is so close by. We hope to come back again soon!
