Thankfully, all these perfect vacation images can come to be when choosing “Palms Away” at 136 Grand Pavilion at Wild Dunes. Professionally decorated, every detail has been considered for you and your family to have the best vacation on the Isle of Palms. The living room is perfectly appointed with comfortable furnishings, large television and a private deck which is surrounded by palm trees providing cool shade on the warmest of days. The well-equipped kitchen has been renovated with new stainless-steel appliances and hard surface countertops. One of the unique features of “Palms Away” is that each of the four bedrooms are spacious, with its own environmental controls, television, and private bath. The first level bedroom is perfect for the kids with three twin beds. Up one floor, there are two guest bedrooms. The first features a king bed and the other two full beds. Finally, the top floor is highlighted with the master bedroom. The large all new bath is a delight in the master bedroom, plus there is an open deck with peeks of the ocean. Great care has been taken in choosing the décor of each bedroom with an emphasis on comfort. The Grand Pavilion community is the center of Wild Dunes, a resort development on the northern end of the Isle of Palms. Everyone had their own bathroom and shower. Located within steps from the Grand Pavilion pools and beach. My only suggestion is check the kitchen stuff…need tablespoon and teaspoons any large platters. Would definitely stay here again! ##### Leslie P. Very close to the pools and a short walk to the beach. The house was great for 6 adults and an infant. Everyone had their own bedroom and private bathroom. The living room furniture might need some updating. The walk to the beach was easy. The beach is huge in front of the Boardwalk area. The overall stay was great! ##### Heather B. The decor is so cute and everything was clean and in great working order. Beachside Rental was very helpful with our questions. One consideration is there are lots of turning and narrow steps to take and this one has no elevator which would’ve been nice with all of our heavy luggage. ##### Joann H. We love the safe, warm, clean feeling we enjoy with our children and grandchildren. Everyone seems to be very family oriented. My Mom just passed so we brought my dad down for a few days after Christmas. It has a little more privacy than a boardwalk home, but is very close to the beach and pool area. The decor is a cute, beachy theme throughout with a well stocked kitchen and a lovely little porch. The beds are comfortable with nice sized bathrooms. My family and I truly had a great time in this home and would definitely rent again. ##### Joy M. The rooms were spacious and we had lots of room! The only thing was there were a lot of stairs to climb. Should have thought about that when we rented the house. Other than that it was a great house! The layout of the home was great. The kitchen table accommodated our group nicely and we loved playing games there in the evenings. We loved the porch and the close proximity to the beach. The only negatives for this house were the beds. They were super uncomfortable! All upholstered furniture needs replacing. We had weddings on both Saturday and Sunday night and it was very loud from the reception.. Lots of steps with this property so beware of that with children. Best selling point is the location. ##### susan j. Great Location We had a great time. Check in and out was great. Beach gear rental was key and made the trip great. Bikes/Beach Chairs/Umbrella. Access to resort pools, bar, and pizza place was a bonus that we used a few times. The house was as advertised. Tons of places to sleep. Clean. As mentioned in other posts, Kitchen and Family/TV room is on the smaller side. So if you are with a big group that will be hanging out inside, it will be tight. My group was small and we were outside 80% of the time, so the house was perfect for us. I highly recommend. ##### Curtis M. Comfortable beds and other furniture. New appliances in the well equipped kitchen. Everything would have been perfect except on the first couple of days the AC on the main floor wasn’t working properly. It worked but just couldn’t keep up later in the day. The property management folks got someone out ASAP and they fixed it. It was fine the remainder of the stay. Their response was great and they were easy to work with.
