In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. We loved watching the ocean from the deck and even from inside through the over-sized sliding glass doors. The beach access and pool are just steps away. Everything has been updated and the apartment was clean and comfortable. It's conveniently located near the center of Wild Dunes and its amenities, but far enough to be a quiet oasis.
