The power went out but was back within 12 hours. The amenities were great and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location great- a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. We loved having the shady pool as an option for the afternoons when it was just too hot out on the beach. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of fresh towels. Great location: easy walk to the beach and the battery to beaches trail. With 10 adults traveling we wanted to make sure we had enough space for all of us to be together as well as our own space when needed. This house did just that with many seating areas. All the amenities that we needed plus many more were available. The house is spacious and very functional. It is beautifully decorated and well maintained. It is the perfect setting and location for our family of 12\. The gathering spaces (inside and outside) are plentiful and spacious. Kitchen is great and includes two dishwashers, which is an added benefit for larger families. There are plenty of stairs to navigate, so caution for groups that include people who do not handle stairs well. Close to the beach and area restaurants; easy drive to downtown Charleston. Lots of rooms to spread out. Outside seating was so nice being up in the trees. Had a private feeling. Really a great house. Two suggestions: Bannister needed on steps down to garage for senior people. The house is beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and we made some amazing meals. I wish I’d asked to heat the pool but that was my fault.
