"This is a lovely place in an excellent location. The rooms are well outfitted and spacious. The restaurant did not seem open and with all the coffee options nearby it was unappealing to give the hotel coffe bar a try. Regardless I would definitely stay here again. "

"Spring break visit - lovely spacious room (2 double beds), large bathroom. Views on 2nd floor were bad and I’d choose a higher floor or request to not look out at the AC vents 😅. Room could be maintained better (e.g., coffee maker didn’t work, toilet backed up- luckily on last day and they made up by offering a sumptuous breakfast at the gorgeous Pembroke hotel). Hotel reception staff was excellent and deserve a very special mention. They cared to immediately solve a problem. Wow. "

"The hotel was very dark. The people at reception were friendly and nice but the cafe worker got my food order wrong and the bellman was not helpful and didn’t even help us load luggage and just stood around wanting a tip. Location was good for what we needed but I would not stay here again "

"The fresh fruited water and evening cider was good. The coffee was ok. A complimentary lite breakfast would have been nice. For a 4 star, it could have been better "
