From the moment we walked in, the mood was set with the view and Okinawan music playing in the background. The staff was absolutely wonderful! They were very helpful finding and suggesting good restaurants and activities. The view from the dining area was very relaxing. There was a nice little library in this area where we had ice cream and coffee while looking through the assortment of books. The rooms are very clean and tidy, but feel quite sterile. We stayed here for a couple of nights after having been in Iriomote. The beach close to this hotel is nice to have, but it doesn't compare to the other beaches around Ishigaki or on the neighboring islands. It is is also a bit tricky to get to the beach from this hotel as the nearby ANA-hotel blocks most entances to the beach. Otherwise, it was easy to reach by the bus that goes every 30 minutes (often by Ishigakis standards) and the bag storage in the hotel is really easy too use.
