A night in Isafjordur

This is a good tourist class hotel, clean and warm, good bed, good bathroom and secure. No issue here at all, reception and breakfast are across the road which isn't ideal but other than that it's fine. The snow in the morning was a nice touch!

What a great property- had to check in for this hotel at another hotel which was confusing and parking was limited but otherwise - locked entry so felt very safe - big gorgeous windows and thick blackout blinds- big room- comfortable bed- wonderful option in this northern town

The hotel room we had was quite small. We had a queen and twin bunk beds. Not much extra space to move around. What helped a lot was the shared living area on our floor for units to share. There was a table and chairs that we used to eat dinner and play games. The included breakfast was excellent! It is in the main hotel but it is so close by.

Beautiful area and everything is within walking distance. Plenty of options for food or a relaxing drink. You can walk over to the beach and swim. Breakfast was free and at the neighboring hotel. Excellent quality food and many options. Definitely not a traditional American continental breakfast.

The Hotel Horn was convenient to downtown, and we had a nice, spacious room, which was greatly appreciated after a few of the smaller rooms we'd been in. The room was clean, and quiet at the time we were there. We had an excellent view from our room. It is somewhat confusing that the check-in is at a different building that's a block away. That hotel was hard to access because there was some construction in the area. Not a big deal but at the end of a long day's drive it was a downer to have to figure that one out. It might be useful to have an instruction sign at the Horn property giving details about check-in. We were on the third floor at were sort of amused and wary of the lift - rather old-school. But it worked and we had a good, if too short, stay in the lovely town. The location is good, as it is an easy walk to either the harbor area, or some of the newer parts of the town.
