"It is not a Bed & Breakfast ...it is an airBnB !
Welcoming was null , except an comunication by using WhatsApp. We never saw the owner.
Parking is very far from room and it depends if you are lucky or not to find a place to park !
Breakfast is very poor it is only one coffee with only one croissant
The only positive things is cleanliness of the room.
No swimming pool as it was specified in the descriptif."

What a find, a really cool retro style hotel with a great vibe. The beach is amazing, step off the steps of the hotel terrace onto soft white sand that stretches for miles. The staff are super friendly and helpful and speak excellent English. The food in the restaurant was great at incredible prices for a hotel, even the locals used it, which always speaks volumes to me. A typical evening meal with wine cost €40 for 2 people. Highly recommend

Martino has created a wonderful comfortable home to go with the beautiful view. Ideally located for the town. Martino makes sure your stay is perfect, giving map plans and even taking consideration of my wife’s disability in his effort. An absolute pleasure, many thanks.

Where do I start? I have too many amazing things to say about this 'hotel'
We arrived around 10pm and were given a tour and told the history of the caves and this hotel they must've been waiting for us to arrive but we were not rushed at all! Given a free upgrade to our room which was just phenomenal! So cosy and warm and everything so intimately designed to keep the cave 'genuine' it was so beautiful we could've stayed in the cave all weekend and not gone outside!
Breakfast was lovely and all...

Property is in a great location, a short walk from Matera. It is very modern, clean and provides great amenities. The room was spacious and I was lucky enough to have a little terrace outside my room.
The staff member on reception was very friendly and helpful! They apparently have a car park round the park but I managed to find some free on street parking (white marked spaces on the main road just before you turn in to Via Gagarin).
If I ever come back to Matera I will stay here again!

Amazing location in the heart of Matera. Simple but nice breakfast. Our room was quiet and comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower with mood lighting!

The Palazzo Gattini is very centrally located and close to the cathedral. The view from the roof terrace is stunning! Breakfast was very good indeed, particularly the fresh orange juice and eggs cooked to order. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although we didn't eat dinner in the hotel (preferring to experience what Matera had to offer), I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a short luxury break.

This is a fantastic B&B, right in the middle of the Sasso in Matera. The owner is extremely helpful, friendly and informative, and has made a fantastic job of converting this traditional property to a very high standard. Breakfast was very nice, with a selection fresh meat, cheese, croissants and home made jams. Our room, in a self-contained building next to the main house, was superb, with a balcony to sit out on to enjoy the amazing atmosphere of this wonderful town. The owner has plans to...

The staff at San Giorgio were amazing, polite and very helpful. Pierre Luigi in particular was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, also Guisy and Benny. Matera is a unique place to visit, San Giorgio made this a very special visit. Thank you Phil and Tess

Excellent location as near to everything you want to see. Communication with the owner was great and we highly recommend using the Transfer from Bari Airport they organise for you.
The room is quiet with the windows closed and the aircon worked. It us a unique room to stay in. The La Lopa restaurant across the street is great for the Sampling menu and then go down to its Cinema in a cave afterwards. Make sure to book in advance. Places shut between 2.30 and 4.00pm due to the heat but then open...
