The room was very clean, and a 5 star review for all the little extras/ little touches. A little jar of oat milk in the fridge was appreciated for my teas/coffees and also being vegan there was biscuits I could eat. A lovely stay. Helen was warm and welcoming on my arrival. The room and en suite bathroom were exceptional and the addition of a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water was a lovely touch. There were plenty of sockets and the and those on the bedside drawers also had usb ports which were extremely useful. A busy friendly pub hotel that made us feel very welcome. Very clean, very large comfy bed. A quiet large warm room and clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and obliging and breakfast delicious. Loved the fact a table at dinner was reserved even without asking and then you could choose not to take it. We did and the menu was varied in a dining room that took good COVID precautions. We enjoyed our dinner. Really great value for money and would definitely recommend.
