"Mirk Cottage lived up to its description 100% and more. It was beautifully converted, spotlessly clean, stylishly and comfortably decorated. Everything was in immaculate condition and fully eqipped for long or short stays. There was clear information on how to use utilities and helpful suggestions for restaurants, pubs etc in the surrounding area. "We thought this would be an ideal base to explore the surrounding areas around Skipton. The cottage was way more than that. It was clean, well-eqipped and had everything you could need. Cosy, great countryside views all around, plenty of hot water, a roaring fire and peace and quiet. The garden was dog proof (for our 2 anyway). The owner Rebecca was delightful and very helpful. "A lovely cosy cottage with everything you need for a walking holiday. Plenty of info from the helpful owner who came around to explain things shortly after I arrived. A short walk to the station. Parking OK outside cottage as long as you have a relatively small car (larger cars can park further down the lane I think). All in all an excellent cottage."
