"Absolutely incredible property, we already want to book again as soon as we can. Amazing location for exploring, 2 nights wasn't enough. The bed is amazingly comfortable and with the fire we had a very cosy stay. The neighbours are also lovely and friendly. Excellent price!!"

"Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely "

"We arrived in the dark which was an experience! When we got inside it was lovely, with a warm and cosy feeling. Rooms were lovely and everything was very clean. At night it’s is extremely quiet, which is exactly what we wanted and pitch black . Christmas Eve morning it started to snow which was magical. "We stayed for a week in February and didn’t want to leave. The Cottage is a home away from home and has everything we needed and much more. The kitchen had everything needed for us to cook each day. The log burner was a special treat. Great WiFi and TV, very comfortable bed and nice and warm central heating. Neil and Sharon were fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed their advice and friendly chats! Can’t wait to return!"
