The house is located in a nice part of town, but there are few local amenities in the immediate vicinity, and a walk into town (not onerous) is required for pubs, shops etc. Furnishings in the house are a little antiquated, but the beds are comfortable and the heating system works well. The galley kitchen is a bit cramped, especially when more than one of us was trying to cook dinner!
