We stayed two nights while visiting family in Irvington. The host is very helpful and communicative, and the place itself is cozy and comfortable. The beds are especially comfy! The bathroom has a huge shower and luxurious tub. We also used the laundry facilities since we'd been on the road for a week. Everything- kitchen, seating areas (inside and out), bedrooms and baths was lovely. The decor is not my personal style, but it was obviously done by someone with a real eye for decorating. The only thing that should make anyone hesitate to book it is if you don't do steep steps. This is an old house, so be prepared to lug yourself and your luggage up to the bedrooms. And don't worry about whether you'll hear any noise from the bar.
